How to take your measurements

At ASSIAKARA's, no 36, 38, 44 or 62 ! 🙅‍♀️

Our bodies are all different, so let's stop trying to put them into boxes !

When you pre-order a garment, you receive an e-mail with all the measurements needed to make it. And when in doubt, you'll find all the measurements and information to take them right here !

General info

To take your body measurements :

- strip down to your undies

- face a full-lenght mirror

- use a measuring tape or a rope (not elastic obviously!)

- you might need help from someone else for some measurements

Your measurements must be precise and real, so don't pull your stomach in or round numbers up...

1. General measurements - upper body

Body

Total height

Neckline

From one shoulder to the other, straight line

Shoulders back

Around the body, by way of nipples

Bustline

Right under the bust

Underbust

From the neck to the waist, on center back

Chest height

At the narrowest place, without pulling your stomach in

Waistline

At the largest

Hipline

Equidistant from hip and waist

Small hipline

2. Arms

Armhole

at the largest, arm slightly bent

Biceps

Arm very slightly bent

Elbow

Wrist

From the shoulder, via the elbow and to the wrist

Arm length

3. Legs

at its largest

Thigh

Knee

At its largest

Calf

Ankle

From the waist to the ground

Leg's external length

From the crotch to the ground

Leg's internal length

From the knee to the ground

Knee height

From the heel to the longest toe

Foot length
